I came across a review on the Chrome extension and one reviewer said they wanted server IP level information from IPinfo when visiting a website. I got curious and looked up a website on our CLI:
ipinfo example.com
That is very interesting! It looks like website to IP to IPinfo(rmation) is natively supported by the CLI.
Then I came across this issue on Github: ability to resolve FQDN · Issue #52 · ipinfo/cli · GitHub (From 2021)
One point to note is that this command resolves to one IP address from the website. For multiple A records, you can use dig:
dig +short cloudflare.com | ipinfo
This will run ipinfo bulk natively.
