Single Sign-On is here for IPinfo Enterprise

Single Sign-On (SSO) is now available for IPinfo Enterprise customers. Your team can sign in to IPinfo through your own identity provider, including Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace and more instead of managing separate IPinfo credentials.

Why this matters

Most companies already run everything behind one company identity, usually Google Workspace or Microsoft 365. Email, design tools, internal wikis, AI subscriptions, all of it. That single identity is what IT actually manages. It’s how they instantly cut off access when someone leaves, restrict logins to approved locations, and produce an audit trail when compliance asks for one.

SSO is what lets IPinfo plug into that same model, instead of sitting outside it as one more app with its own password to manage.

How it works

We built this on WorkOS, a platform purpose-built to bridge applications like IPinfo to the long tail of enterprise identity providers, each speaking its own flavor of SAML or OIDC. Partnering with WorkOS means one consistent, secure integration on our side, rather than a growing pile of provider specific code to maintain forever.

Setup happens right in the IPinfo dashboard. Your organization owner opens the Organization page, enables SSO for your company’s email domain, and connects your identity provider through a guided setup flow. No ticket required.

Setting it up

The whole process runs from your IPinfo dashboard end to end, no ticket required to get started:

  1. Your organization owner opens ipinfo.io/dashboard/organization and enables SSO for your company’s email domain.
  2. From the Single sign-on page, selecting “Configure identity provider” hands off to a hosted setup portal run by WorkOS, where you choose your identity provider from a list.
  3. WorkOS walks your IT admin through the setup for that specific provider: the exact values to hand over on each side, so nothing has to be copied by hand or guessed at.
  4. A built-in test sign-in confirms the connection actually works before anyone depends on it.
  5. Back on the Single sign-on page, every member of your organization, not just the owner, can see that SSO is connected.

Who this is for

SSO is an Enterprise plan feature. It isn’t available on free tier or self serve plans at this moment.
