AS20940 information is inconsistent and needs a correction

Hello,

I would like to point out that the country code associated with AS20940 and all other AS’es under Akamai International B.V shouldn’t be considered as Dutch. While the RIPE Database does mark them as Dutch, their legal organization and group Addresses are all registered to Cambridge, MA, which is the global headquarters of Akamai Technologies.

In addition of this, on PeeringDB, the AS20940 page which was set up by Akamai themselves mentions Akamai Technologies, Inc., the American entity, as the holder, with no mention of the Netherlands.

From my research, B.V ik this case seems to be a shell registrant that only exists to get RIPE IP’s, but the RIPE Database itself mentions that the OrgID and GroupID are in the US, not Europe.

I would also add there was a similar problem back then with AS45102 registered under a US entity but all addresses were in China and it eventually got corrected so I don’t see why Akamai wouldn’t
