Using IPinfo as a search engine in your browser

You can set up IPinfo as a custom IP address search engine

For Chromium-based browser:

  1. Go to your web browser’s settings
  2. Seach for “search engine”
  3. Look for “Manage Search Engine”
  4. Click on “Add”. Fill up the form like so:
    a. “Search Engine” ⇒ IPinfo
    b. “Keyword / Shortcut” ⇒ IP
    c. “URL with %s in place of the query” ⇒ https://ipinfo.io/%s

Now, on the browser address bar, you can type ip press the tab key and type in the IP address, and it will directly take you to the IP address IP data page on IPinfo.
