Hi Jason,
The pleasure is ours.
I didn’t think I’d get a response since I’m not a paying customer,
This is absolutely not how we operate. Our data impacts everyone. You do not have to pay us anything to get help from us. Everyone on the internet, to some extent, is impacted by our data, so we are accountable and responsible as an internet institute to help.
Our data is being used by tech giants like Cloudflare, OpenAI, Google, etc. The reality is that you do not have to be our customer to be impacted by our data. So, we maintain an open door policy for feedback, concerns and support issues. In fact, I usually reach out to people on Reddit, Twitter, etc. whenever they have issues .
The reason I asked you to contact support is that your problem requires sharing some private information, or else I would have provided an explanation here.
I only submitted my own current IP address as I’m sure they are assigned to various different localities and not just local to me
That is reasonable for us. We appreciate you sharing your location data. We will try to piece together the rest.
they will be able to figure out a long term solution as to not have any similar issues in the future.
The reality is that, if the app you are trying is ultimately using our data, this issue will be resolved by us fixing the location issue. But if the app is not using our data, our hands are tied here.
That is why we do a lot of outreach to streaming and broadcasting companies to use our data so we can go out there, talk to the viewers, and fix their issues.
I appreciate you posting in our community. Thank you very much.
